Rooted in sacred, reverential, and vulnerable honesty, Anchor Hymns’ songs dive deep into the human condition. As a collective of artists with roots spanning across generations past and yet-to come, as well diverse ethnic backgrounds, their songs create a place where honesty can be experienced in community, while simultaneously looking towards what's ahead with gratitude. Musically drawing from Neo Soul, Indie Rock, Brooklyn Fusion, (Blues, Jazz, RnB, Soul), Anchor Hymns are unafraid to tackle the sounds of suffering and grief, as well as joy and celebration.

This past year Anchor Hymns has released three projects – mixing covers of beloved hymns with crafting new ones for the Church of today – with another EP coming on October 20th. Yet, their upcoming special project is set to be recorded in the mundane-meets-divine settings of a Nashville brewery, Black Abbey, as Anchor Hymns seeks to bring their raw art to society beyond church walls. They are actively involved in their community, planning another recording at the heart of the Covenant School to honor, commemorate, and grieve with their fellow humans.

Anchor Hymns is currently made of Paul Baloche, Leslie Jordan, Taylor Leonhardt, Jasmine Mullen, Dee Wilson, Antoine Bradford, Sarah Kroger, Jess Ray, Tim Timmons, Garrett Tyler, Lucy Grimble, Dwan Hill, Sandra McCracken, Chaunda Jefferson, Brian Eichelberger, Ricky Vazquez, Brent Milligan, and Andrew Osenga.
